Pastor David Ibiyeomie, the founder of Salvation Ministries, has advised Nigerians considering travel to the United States to reconsider their decision and remain in their homeland.

In his address, Pastor Ibiyeomie challenged the common belief that relocating abroad will automatically improve one’s life. He emphasized that many countries people move to, in search of success, also face their own set of challenges.

The pastor pointed out that even developed nations like the United States are not exempt from difficulties. He questioned the assumption that leaving Nigeria guarantees a life of ease, reminding his audience that every country has its own unique struggles.

According to him,  “Where are you running to?  Is there no challenge there?  There’s no free lunch anywhere.  Where you are running to still has challenges.  You say there’s challenge in your country and you want to run to another country?  You think where you’re going has no challenge?  You think there’s no challenge in America?  Where will you run to now?  Even those in America now are crying.  Ask your brothers in America—they are crying.  Okay, your brother ran to America—now America is hotter than Nigeria.”

“America is hot!  If here is heat, there is hotter.  So those who ran away from Nigeria to America—what are they going to do now?  Please, face it where you are.  Face it where you are.”
