Controversial Nigerian rapper Cynthia Morgan has outlined the reasons why dating between two individuals who are brokeâfinancially, spiritually, and mentallyâshould be illegal.
The dancehall singer questioned why people took it personally when they said that men shouldn’t be broke and in a relationship on her Instagram story.
She went on to list the three types of brokenness that she believed to be present: financial, mental, and spiritual.
According to Cynthia Morgan, men are naturally good providers, but it’s okay for a man to find a lady even while he’s broke. In her view, it ought to be illegal for two spiritually, financially, and emotionally bankrupt individuals to be in a relationship.
She wrote: âNot sure why people take it personal when they say men shouldnât be broke and dating. Firstly I will like to state that there are three types of brokenness,1, financial brokenness, mental brokenness and spiritual brokenness. But let me expanciate on the financial brokenness. men are natural providers. If youâre lucky to find a woman that doesnât mind cool. But two financially, spiritually and mentally broke people dating should be a crime in my opinionâ
