The President of TriAfrica Empowerment Foundation, Pastor Ituah Ighodalo, has called on leaders from all walks of life to exemplify positive values and genuine concern for one another.
Doing this, he stated, can foster justice, unity, sustainable development and transparency and transparency within the society and the political landscape.
Pastor Ighodalo who is also the Senior Pastor of Trinity House also encouraged the citizens to strive for orderliness, obedience, justice and active participation in the political sphere.
The man of God made the call at the fifth edition of the food distribution programme organised by the Africa Leadership Group, a subsidiary of TriAfrica Empowerment Foundation held on Saturday at the Igando-Ikotun LCDA, Lagos.
He said, “On this momentous occasion, we call upon leaders from the realms of politics, religion, corporations and educational institutions to exemplify values such as righteousness, integrity, transparency and genuine concern for one another. By doing so, we can foster justice, unity, sustainable development and transparency and transparency within our society and political landscape.
“To the citizens at large, we encourage every one of you to strive for orderliness, obedience, justice and active participation in the political sphere. Asking pertinent questions and holding elected officials accountable to their promises are crucial steps towards building a better society.

“Let us refrain from engaging in activities that undermine government programs and policies, such as littering, driving against traffic, and obstructing drainage systems. Additionally, religious leaders are urged to inspire their followers with principles of good governance and nation-building, while encouraging daily prayers for the improvement of our nation.
“We also implore corporate and institutional leaders to enhance their corporate social responsibility initiatives by positively impacting the communities in which they operate, contributing to the development of both human and natural resources. It is essential to ensure that these efforts are conducted without exploiting the communities, as this can lead to restlessness and social disharmony.”
During the intervention, 500 less-privileged families were given food items including rice, beans and cassava flakes (garri) to ease their food burden.
The Coordinator of the scheme, Yetunde Macaulay, said the intervention was held to celebrate the 63rd birthday of the man of God.
