President Tinubu salutes Alliyu Oduwole at 80

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Alhaji Alliyu Babatunde Oduwole, an Ijebu prince, as he marks his 80th birthday.
The presidential greeting for the elder statesman was contained in a statement signed on behalf of the President by his Special Adviser on Media & Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale on Sunday.
The President described Alhaji Oduwole as an active citizen and believer in Nigeriaโs potential for greatness, adding that the octogenarian philanthropistย hasย carried out โmany lofty advocacies to promote public accountability, peace, and dialogue.โ
โIn 2015, he created a plethora of fora to discuss โProject Nigeriaโ; held citizen-engagement meetings, and submitted a memorandum on constitutional amendments to the National Assembly in 2022.

โIn 2018, he founded the United Muslim Community Care Foundation to feed indigent Nigerians of all religious persuasions. The foundation has been feeding many families during Ramadan and providing them with some stipends,โ the President recollected.
He wished Oduwole good health and renewed vigour in his service to humanity as he marked the milestone birthday.
