Big Ed from San Diego was a regular restaurant at the Encontro North Park restaurant where Liz worked on The Single Life. Big Ed asked Liz out, and she said yes, but little did Liz know that the relationship would turn her life around. 14 breakups later, Liz was all set to marry Big Ed in August 2023. While it’s not known whether they did get married, Liz revealed she had a new boyfriend in late 2023.

Liz was spotted at a bar in Bentonville with Big Ed in January 2023 and a few months later, the pair were seen together at the DMV. The pair confirmed their move to Arkansas in Happily Ever After? season 8 while revealing Liz had given up her job in Encontro for Big Ed. However, Liz’s latest I Story reveals she’s not only back in San Diego but has also resumed her job at Encontro.

Liz posed for a photo at her workplace with the executive chef and owner, Jason, as they prepped for brunch service. Liz was all smiles in her uniform as she stood proud at the place where she felt like she’d always belonged. Liz was offered a promotion at the restaurant in Happily Ever After? season 7 where she had the chance to become the partner. However, Liz gave all of it up to move to Arkansas with Big Ed. Big Ed also didn’t like Liz being friends with her co-workers. He may have talked her out of continuing to work there.
Liz’s new boyfriend, Jayson, is from San Diego. Liz may have decided to move out of her house, which she shared with Big Ed, as soon as she saw a future in her relationship with Jayson. Liz may not have felt comfortable doing a real estate job as Big Ed wanted her to. Her being all smiles at Encontro shows how happy she is to be back home with her friends and family and Jayson. Liz was sacrificing a lot when she went along with Big Ed to Bentonville.
