The director and Netflix's two-part space-opera epic debuted in December 2023 with Rebel Moon – Part One: A Child of Fire, introducing audiences to a small band gathering on a farming world to take a stand against a galaxy-spanning tyrannical empire. While Rebel Moon parts one and two have now been released on the streaming service, extended cuts were confirmed ahead of the first chapter's release.
