President Bola Tinubu has greenlit the designation of Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State Petroleum Resources (Gas), as Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB).
This announcement came via a statement by Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, on Thursday.
The move aims to bolster oversight of the gas segment of Nigeria’s assets. President Tinubu’s decision aligns with his pledge to streamline the approval process for oil and gas projects, emphasizing efficiency and consistency.
