Lagos PDP felicitates Dapo Sarumi on 80th birthday

Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has felicitated Chief Oladapo Babatunde Sarumi, a founding member of the party in the state, as he celebrates his 80th birthday, describing him as a visionary leader and a devoted Nigerian, who had significantly contributed to the political and economic progress of the country.

Chief Sarumi, a PDP chieftain and elder statesman, will be 80 years old on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

The party said this on Wednesday in a congratulatory message issued by its spokesperson, Hon. Hakeem Amode, a copy of which was made available to newsmen, and further described Chief Sarumi as one who had positively impacted numerous lives, saying that his graceful ageing and the opportunity to savour the fruits of his โ€œlabour bring us immense joy.โ€
