Recommended Ornaments are cited for every character, like the ones featured in Robin’s build in Honkai: Star Rail.
Farming Ornaments currently requires participation in the Simulated Universe activity, but it seems like the process for acquiring them is about to be facilitated with the arrival of Version 2.3. According to new leaks provided by Team Mew, which were shared in a post tagged as “Reliable” on Reddit, Ornaments will now be farmable as if challenging a regular domain, like a Cavern of Corrosion. The rest of the leak brings details about the rumored Divergent Universe update for Honkai: Star Rail. If true, this change to how Ornaments are farmed will be a massive upgrade to the current format.
At the moment, farming Planar Ornaments is not particularly hard, but it is a tiring process, especially when compared to the other farming activities present in the game. To obtain Ornaments, players need to challenge the Simulated Universe and manually proceed through its various stages and battles. Though battles can be skipped through the auto-battle function, the rest of the Simulated Universe requires constant player control. As such, players cannot activate an auto-farming function for Ornaments in Honkai: Star Rail.
This is a great deviation from other farming items. Relics, for instance, can be farmed at Cavern of Corrosion activities with a simple auto-farm function that allows players to constantly re-challenge the activity for drops. It is a fairly easy endeavor, and it does not waste too much time or require a player’s undivided attention. If the leak provided by Team Mew is true, Ornaments will now be farmable through a similar method – even if the domain remains connected to the Simulated Universe, it seems the requirement of actively playing in Honkai: Star Rail will be removed.
This leaked update to Ornament farming is quite beneficial to players who want to focus on building their characters without being put back by the necessity of challenging the Simulated Universe, an activity that can take a while to complete. Not only will farming Planar Ornaments become easier, but building characters should also be significantly improved with such a tweak to the current format.
