Popular Nigerian singer Chinedu Okoli, widely known as Flavour, has announced the passing of his father, Elder Onyemaechi Okoli.
He shared the sad news via his X account.
Elder Okoli passed away on the 22nd of May, 2024.
Grieving his father, the singer wrote in Igbo: “My father, Ijele’s (his nickname) father, rest well. God gave and God has taken.”
However, fans and colleagues of the singer have been flooding the comment section with condolence messages.
Meanwhile, the family is yet to announce the funeral arrangements.
