RIVERS United versus Sunshine Stars is one of the all-Nigeria Premier Football League battles in the round of 16 of the President Federation Cup following the elimination of holders Bendel Insurance.
The Benin City-based holders were beaten 2-0 in the round of 32 in midweek by Wikki Tourists, while Rivers United advanced by edging past Niger Tornadoes 1-0, and Sunshine Stars overcame Plateau United 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at full-time.
In other all-NPFL round of 16 ties, Kwara United will face Abia Warriors and Katsina United will battle Northern rivals Kano Pillars.
NPFL champions Enyimba are up against lower league side Sokoto United, with Shooting Stars set to battle El-Kanemi Warriors, while there will be a Lagos derby between Ikorodu City and Inter Lagos.
The Nigeria Football Federation is yet to announce the dates and venues for the President Federation Cup round of 16 fixtures.
