The reinstated Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, has arrived at the Kano Government House.
Sanusi’s arrival was for the official presentation of his appointment letter and the resumption of his duties as the sole first-class Emir of the state.
Following security advice, a subdued homecoming reception was organized for the Emir upon his late Thursday arrival in Kano.
This development signifies that all preparations are in place for the highly anticipated event, marking the Emir’s first public appearance since his reinstatement.
Sanusi is scheduled to attend a mini-durbar ceremony at the Africa House in Kano Government House at 10 a.m. Subsequently, he will proceed to the Nassarawa Emir’s palace before leading the jumu’at (Friday) prayers at the Kano Central Mosque situated within the palace premises in Kofar Kudu.
