A Ghanaian lady has taken to social media to compare the cab-hailing service of her home country to China, expressing surprise as her UBER driver showed up in a Tesla in China.
The lady, who identifies as @aewuradjoah on TikTok shared the moment she saw the car parked by the roadside, questioning her partner if it was a mistake in the booking.
In her words,
“China is not a real place, China is not a real place, because how did we order for a normal UBER to the market…we are going to the market o. The car that came to pick us, honey! it can never be Ghana…It’s a Tesla”
In the viral video, the lady noted she was going for her usual market errands but riding in a Tesla was unexpected. She emphasized that China is more advanced compared to Ghana as she revealed the car driving itself while the Chinese driver was on his phone.
According to her, a classic car can never be utilized for cab hailing service in Ghana; China has gone beyond the African expectations in their transportation system.
She also added that the transport fare is quite cheap compared to what a cabbie charges in Ghana.
