Openda made the switch from RC Lens to RB Leipzig last summer and the Belgian forward went on to enjoy a fantastic debut season in the Bundesliga, spear-heading the Red Bulls’ attack and leading their charge for Champions League qualification.

The Belgium international utilized his blistering pace and unmatched determination to chase down opponents and opportunities to often create scoring chances out of nothing for his team.

Leipzig’s most prolific attacker this season, Openda contributed 31 goal involvements and six MOTM performances across 34 Bundesliga appearances for the Red Bulls this season.
