Popular Nigerian singer Joseph Akinfenwaa Donus, better known as Joeboy, has criticized the Bola Tinubu-led administration for focusing on changing the National Anthem instead of addressing the numerous challenges facing the country.
Recall that President Bola Tinubu signed the National Anthem Bill 2024 into law on the 29th of May, 2024 reinstating the old anthem, “Nigeria, We Hail Thee.”
In response to this, the singer questioned why changing the National Anthem was given priority over more urgent national issues.
Via his X account Joeboy wrote: “Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw.”
