Germany kicked off their Euro 2024 campaign in style with a 5-1 win over Scotland on Friday. Young stars Florian Wirtz and Jamal Musiala, both 21, were the standout players, showing they are ready to lead the team into a new era.

The game, held in Berlin, saw Germany dominate from the start. Wirtz opened the scoring just 10 minutes into the game with a brilliant goal. Musiala followed up with another goal in the 19th minute, setting the tone for the rest of the match.

Scotlandโ€™s night took a turn for the worse when Ryan received a red card in the 44th minute for a reckless tackle, leaving his team to play the entire second half with ten men. Despite the setback, Scotland managed to score a late goal, but it was too little, too late against a strong German side.

Germanyโ€™s coach, Hansi Flick, praised Wirtz and Musiala after the match, saying, โ€œThey were fantastic tonight and proved that our future looks bright.โ€

With this big win, Germany made a strong statement and gained three important points. The performances of Wirtz and Musiala will be crucial as Germany aims to win the Euro 2024 tournament at home.
