SUPER Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru will be joining Serie A club Lazio in the coming days, according to reports in Italy.
The Nigeria international is currently with Turkish Super Lig club Hatayspor, where he has played for one season.
The Lazio deal is believed to be worth €7 million and it is so close that Dele-Bashiru is expected to have his medical in the next day or two.
Hatayspor have given the green light for the 23-year-old to join Lazio and the transfer should be completed this week.
Dele-Bashiru joined Hatayspor on a free transfer from Sheffield Wednesday and has made 39 appearances for the Turkish club, scoring nine goals and making six assists.
He made his Super Eagles debut in the friendly against Mozambique in October 2023, contributing one assist in the 3-2 victory.
The attacking midfielder scored his first international goal in his second appearance as the Super Eagles played a 1-1 draw with South Africa in a 2026 World Cup qualifier on June 7.
