See: Ex-Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie graduates from golf school

Former Super Eagles striker Osaze Odemwingie opened up on his love for golf after recently graduating from the Professional Golfers Association school, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osaze is one of the best strikers that Nigeria has ever produced. Born to a Russian mother and a Nigerian father, Osaze opted to play for the Super Eagles. And he registered eleven goals in 62 appearances between 2002 and 2014.

The 42-year-old striker played for clubs like Bendel Insurance, Lille, West Brom, Cardiff City, Stoke City, Bristol City, and Rotherham, before calling it quits in 2019.

After he retired, Osaze talked about returning to school to get a degree and get his coaching badges. However, little has been mentioned about that since.

But in a new development, a video of the West Brom man at his graduation from PGA school surfaced on social media. In the video, he expressed excitement at becoming a PGA graduate.

He also stressed on the other skills he had learned during his course.

โ€œItโ€™s motivating itself to be around people who have the drive to get the GPA badge on their chest,โ€ Osaze said.

โ€œItโ€™s on its own motivating because they will learn so many life skills that at my age would still be beneficial.โ€

Following his graduation, Osaze can become a professional golfer. Or he could eventually venture into golf coaching.
