EFCC Leads Nationwide Anti-Corruption Walk

Thousands of Nigerians across the country took to the streets on Thursday to participate in a nationwide walk against corruption, led by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

The event, themed โ€œEffective Whistleblowing for Corruption-Free Nigeriaโ€, aims to raise awareness and encourage the public to report corruption.

EFCC Chair, Ola Olukoyede, led the walk from the front, joined by other EFCC officials, civil society organizations, and citizens from all walks of life.

The procession began at the EFCC Abuja Zonal Command and ended at Unity Fountain, with participants carrying banners and placards with anti-corruption messages.

The walk is part of the 2024 African Union Anti-corruption Day celebrations, and the EFCC has urged Nigerians to report any corruption-related activities, including fraud, bribery, government fund looting, financial misconduct, embezzlement, and other corrupt practices.
