At a recent NATO ceremony, U.S. President Joe Biden, who has been facing scrutiny over his fitness to serve, made a notable gaffe.
While introducing Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Biden mistakenly referred to him as Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The error occurred as Biden said, “Now I want to hand it over to the president of Ukraine, who has as much courage as he has determination. Ladies and gentlemen, President Putin.”
Realizing the mistake, Biden swiftly corrected himself, stating, “I’m so focused on beating President Putin, we’ve got to worry about it.”
This incident has drawn attention amidst ongoing discussions about Biden’s capability to serve as President.
