Senator Doguwa Dumps APC For PDP

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano, Senator Masaud Doguwa, has dumped the party and pitched his tent with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Doguwa, in a personally signed statement about his defection, said despite his vast experience, the APC has made him idle and redundant.

He added that the APC is sponsoring anti-people policies which are causing harm to ordinary Nigerians.

โ€œIn politics, if you fail to engage highly experienced politicians by providing them with political assignments, you are making them politically redundant, and giving them room to struggle and engage themselves elsewhere.

โ€œThis is because highly experienced politicians donโ€™t want to stay idle,โ€™โ€™ the statement said.

The politician added that after a careful evaluation of the partyโ€™s activities, and approach to issues, he can no longer remain with the APC, hence his decision to defect to another party.

โ€œAfter careful appraisal, I have discovered that some of the policies are anti-people-oriented and do not align with our political ideology.

โ€œThese policies are causing more harm and concern than good to the ordinary and common citizens of the country.

โ€œFrom what we have seen happening in APC, we have not seen light in the tunnel where an ordinary man, big or small, will sigh a relief from the burden of life with the APC approach on issues,โ€ he added.
