Popular Nigerian singer Rema has arrived in India to perform at the wedding of Anant Ambani, son of Asia’s richest man Mukesh Ambani, and Radhika Merchant, daughter of pharma tycoons Viren and Shaila Merchant.
On Thursday night, the singer shared a video on Instagram showing him walking towards a private chartered plane in an all-black outfit, with ‘Azaman’ from his recently released sophomore album, ‘He Is,’ playing in the background. He also included an emoji of the Indian tricolor.
According to the Hindustan Times, Rema is charging $3 million to perform his global hit song ‘Calm Down’ at the event.
Also, Canadian singer Justin Bieber was reportedly paid $10 million for his performance.
Rihanna also performed at the wedding for an undisclosed fee.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant will tie the knot on the 12th of July, at the Jio World Centre in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in Mumbai.
