Refinery: Minister hosts crucial meeting with Dangote, NMDPRA, NUPRC, NNPC leadership

In a bid to resolve the ongoing issues surrounding the Dangote Refinery, the Minister of State Petroleum Resources [Oil], Senator Heineken Lokpobiri, convened a high-level meeting with key stakeholders.

The meeting, held in Abuja, brought together prominent figures in Nigeriaโ€™s oil and gas industry to address and find sustainable solutions to the challenges at hand.

Present at the meeting were Mr. Aliko Dangote, Chairman and CEO of Dangote Group; Mr. Farouk Ahmed, Authority Chief Executive of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA); Mr. Gbenga Komolafe, Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC); and Mr. Mele Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation Limited (NNPC).

Nneamaka Okafor, Special Adviser Media and Communication to the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Oil), highlighted the importance of the meeting in a statement, noting that it reflects the Ministerโ€™s commitment to ensuring the sectorโ€™s success and addressing any issues that arise promptly and effectively.
