Popular singer and actress Olivia Rodrigo has shown her support for Vice President Kamala Harris for president, following President Joe Biden’s withdrawal as the Democratic Party candidate.
Rodrigo shared a video on Instagram featuring Harris pledging to restore reproductive rights at her first campaign rally, complete with cheering emojis.
Singer Katy Perry has also shown her support for Harris, posting an edit of Harris set to Perry’s song “Woman’s World,” with the lyrics, “It’s a woman’s world and you’re lucky to be living in it.”
Additionally, Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, endorsed Harris on the 21st of July, 2024, after Biden stepped down.
Recall that Beyoncé has permitted Harris to use her song “Freedom” for her presidential campaign, and Harris walked out to the song during her first official visit to her campaign headquarters on the 22nd of July 2024.
