Nigeria’s foremost human rights activist and constitutional lawyer, Prof Mike Ozekhome SAN, has written a letter on behalf of Incorporated Trustees of Association of Local Governments of Nigeria ( ALGON), warning the Forum of State Commissioners for Finance of Nigeria, not to tamper with funds due to the 774 LGAs of Nigeria, but to pay to them directly as ordered by the Supreme Court in its judgement dated July 11,2024.
Prof Ozekhome told the Forum and Governors controlling it of the dire consequences of disobeying the clear orders of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
