Justice Ajumogobia’s Daughter Found Dead: Shockwaves as Domestic Staff Held

Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, has been killed. The deceased, popularly called Chuchu, was reportedly murdered in her Parkview Estate residence in the Ikoyi area of Lagos State on Wednesday morning.

A family source, who requested anonymity due to the current state of the family, said she was killed the previous night, and her body was discovered this morning outside the gate of her residence.

“It would appear that new household staff might have been responsible and tried to stage it as if she was outside when it happened,” the source revealed.

“There are signs of an attempt to clean up blood inside the house and in the compound. This was indeed their handiwork, and we observe that they were newly employed less than a month, and she was alone in the house with them. We all need to be super careful, especially with new hires.”

The state command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, who spoke to PUNCH Online in a telephone conversation on Wednesday, confirmed the incident, stating that the body has been recovered, and three suspects have been arrested in connection to her death.

“Our men have arrested three people in connection to the murder of the daughter of Justice Ajumogobia at her residence in Parkview Estate. One of them is a driver, and the other two are maids. We are investigating and will further inform the public on our outcome,” Hundeyin stated.

Until her death, the late Aribemchukwu was a doctor and had recently married.
