Organizers of the ongoing #EndBadGovernance protest have pledged to persist in their demonstrations until their demands are fully addressed.
This determination was reiterated during a world press conference held in Abuja on Friday, where various groups united under the movement expressed their grievances and called for immediate governmental action.
The protesters, who have been on the streets since August 1st, cited escalating economic hardships as a key driver of the nationwide unrest.
Speaking at the briefing, representatives of the movement stressed the urgent need for the government to address the systemic issues that have fueled public discontent, particularly the worsening economic situation in the country.
One of the organizers emphasized that the protest would not be halted until there is a concrete response from the government addressing the core issues at the heart of their demands.
“Our resolve is strong, and we will remain in the streets until we see meaningful changes,” they declared.
The protesters also issued a direct appeal to President Bola Tinubu, urging him to immediately halt the use of force by security agencies against peaceful demonstrators across the country.
