Charles Oputa, widely known as Charly Boy, believes that revolution is the only answer to bad governance in Nigeria.
He described the nationwide protest from the 1st of August to the 10th as merely a “rehearsal” for what is to come.
The well-known entertainer and activist predicted that when the revolution happens, it will be unannounced and not televised.
In a post shared via his X handle, Charly Boy warned that if the Nigerian government fails to meet the demands of the youth, the revolution could turn destructive and bloody.
“It will take A Revolution to find a solution to bad leadership. I see August 1st to 10th as a dress rehearsal for the main event.
“The main event will be Unannounced.
It will be madder than we ever Imagined.
“The REVOLUTION will not be Televised. Destruction and Blood will line in its wake.
“Hopefully, it will be The Outcome That Will Bring The SOLUTION”, he wrote.
Nigerian youths have taken to the streets since August 1, demanding an end to the severe hardship in the country.
The organizers have planned a one-million-man protest nationwide for the 10th of August, 2024.
