After being sacked as Rivers State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tony Okocha organized a large rally in Port Harcourt to express support for President Bola Tinubu.
The event, which drew members of the Renewed Hope Family of Rivers State from various local governments, took place at the Port Harcourt Polo Club.
Participants carried banners in solidarity with President Tinubu as they marched down Aba Road, causing significant traffic congestion due to the crowd’s size. The purpose of the rally remains unclear, but the demonstration underscores Okocha’s continued influence and support base in the region despite his recent removal from office.
