The Commissioner of Fire in Borno State, Ahmed Ali Ahmed, has been found dead.
He was allegedly found dead in his room on Monday morning after his door was forced open, Daily Trust reported.
Details of the cause of death were still sketchy during press time but locals who forced the door open to discover his cold body said his absence fueled suspicion that something was wrong.
They said he exceeded his usual time in which he comes out in the morning hence the need to forcefully gain entry into his room only to find him dead.
