A 35-year-old man named Muritala Ibrahim has been arrested for allegedly defiling a 10-year-old minor in his residence.
NewsNGR learnt that the incidents occurred at Aagba community in Boripe Local Government Area of Osun State.
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of Osun State Security Network codenamed ‘Amotekun’, Yusuf Idowu in a statement explained that “Ibrahim was arrested after the mother of the victim lodged a complaint.”
He continued, “Ibrahim Muritala allegedly lured the girl into his residence, where he forcefully had carnal knowledge of her.
“He thereafter shaved part of the girl’s hair and gave her another dress to wear.
“The suspect was arrested after the victim’s mother lodged a complaint at Amotekun Boripe Command.
“Our operatives swung into action and immediately apprehended Ibrahim Muritala.”
Idowu added that the suspect has been handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.
