High Emotion As Kaduna Governor Visits Kuriga Freed Students

Emotions ran high on Sunday as Governor Uba Sani visited the LEA Primary and Junior Secondary School in Kuriga, where students who were previously abducted but later freed are studying.

NewsNGR reports that the governorโ€™s visit came five months after bandits abducted no more than 137 students and staff from the Government Secondary and Primary School, Kuriga 1, in Chikun LG, on March 7, 2024, and released two weeks later.

The governor was received with cheers and applause by the students, teachers, and community members.

He had a heartwarming engagement with the students, inquiring about their experiences since their return and their progress in school.

The students shared positive and inspiring stories, expressing gratitude for their freedom and the support they have received.
