Nigerian-Born Singer Shaboozey’s ‘Tipsy’ Tops US Charts in 2024

Nigerian-American singer Shaboozey has set new records in the United States with his hit song “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

According to music monitoring platform Chart Data, it is now officially the most streamed song in the U.S. in 2024.

The track has overtaken Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” and Benson Boone’s “Beautiful Things” to become the best-selling song in America this year.

“Tipsy” has also achieved the distinction of being the longest-running #1 single on the Hot 100 in 2024, holding the top spot for seven weeks.

Additionally, it has surpassed “I Had Some Help” by Post Malone and Morgan Wallen.

Recall that In July, Shaboozey joined Beyoncé as the only Black artist to simultaneously top both the Hot 100 and Hot Country Songs charts.
