Reports from Edo state have revealed that Operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes (EFCC) have arrested some suspected vote-buyers in the ongoing Edo governorship election.
The suspects, three of them were arrested in the Egor Local Government Area of the state as accreditation and election are already on at the polling centres.
EFCC officials left the location with three suspects – two males and a female.
However, their names were not ascertained as at the time of filling this report.
In the process, some residents kicked against the arrest, insisting they were being victimised.
