Nicki Minaj has shut down swirling rumors suggesting she took a subtle dig at Beyoncé.
The rapper sparked online chatter after posting, and quickly deleting, a cryptic tweet in which she referred to someone only as a “Robot on timing.”
Though Minaj didn’t name names, fans were quick to connect the dots, speculating that the comment was aimed at the music icon.
The rumor mill kicked into high gear following reports of tension between Minaj and Beyoncé’s camp rumored to stem from Jay-Z’s decision to have Kendrick Lamar, instead of Minaj’s longtime mentor Lil Wayne, headline the Super Bowl halftime show.
A social media user claimed that Nicki Minaj referred to Beyoncé as a “robot.”
In response, Minaj shut down the rumor in the comments, stating, “This is an absolute lie .”
