A former senator from Kaduna, Shehu Sani, has given insight into the challenges that election petitioners would encounter when they go to court to seek justice.
Majority of Nigerian election winners in recent years have consistently advised their rivals to file lawsuits if they are dissatisfied with the results of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a brief post on his X handle, Sani warned the petitioners that they would be bombarded with electoral material inspections when they appeared in court.
โElections; when you go to court, and you get the permission to inspect election materials, you will be given one or two truckloads of ballot papers to search and find what you are looking for.
โAfter you open just two โGhana must go bagsโ of ballot paper, you go sweat tire,โย heย tweeted.
