President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is currently hosting the Edo state governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, at the State House, Abuja.
Okpebholo is accompanied by some governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governors include Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum (PGF)and Governor of Imo state state, Hope Uzodimma; chairman of Nigerian Governors Forum (NGF) and Governor of Kwara state, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq; Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna state, Governor Usman Ododo of Kogi state and Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun.
Others include Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the Deputy Governor of Edo state Mr Philip Shaibu.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Monday Okpebholo winner of last Saturday’s governorship election in Edo state.
