Tinubu Departs for Two-Week Annual Leave in UK

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today (Wednesday) for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation as part of his yearly leave, according to a statement issued by his spokesman, Bayo Onanuga.

The statement noted that the Presidentโ€™s time away will serve as both a vacation and a working retreat, allowing him to reflect on the economic reforms introduced by his administration since taking office in May 2023.

โ€œPresident Bola Ahmed Tinubu will depart Abuja today for the United Kingdom to begin a two-week vacation, part of his yearly leave. He will use the two weeks as a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on his administrationโ€™s economic reforms,โ€ Onanuga said.

The President is expected to return to the country at the conclusion of the leave period.
