The Managing Director of Aleena Petroleum, Bashir Masud Musa has been awarded the Young Entrepreneur of the Year under the Democracy Heroes Award 2024.
Musa was awarded for his exceptional entrepreneurship and commitment to innovation, sustainability, and excellence in the energy sector, as well as empowering youth and alleviating poverty.
The event held at the congress hall, Transcorp Hilton Abuja went through a rigorous selection process including online voting which ensures that the award truly reflects the people’s choice and recognizes those who have made a tangible difference in Nigeria’s democracy.
In his address, the Project Director of The Face of Democracy Nigeria, Olufunsho Ajagbonna said like the previous editions of the award, those who emerged this year were well deserved.
“The prestigious Democracy Heroes Award recognises individuals and institutions that have made significant contributions to Nigeria’s growing democracy”.
The award also celebrates other notable individuals including Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna, and his counterparts in Niger and Zamfara states, Mohammed Umar Bago and Dauda Lawal respectively.
