Fury Grows Among Zenith Bank Customers As Inflows Fail To Reflect In Accounts For Days

Numerous Zenith Bank customers have taken to social media to express frustration over inflows sent to their accounts not being properly credited, with some transactions pending since October 1st. Despite the growing complaints, the bank has yet to issue an official statement addressing the situation.

The only communication from Zenith Bank came on October 1st, when they announced plans for an IT system upgrade expected to cause service disruptions for a few hours that day. However, contrary to the bankโ€™s promise that transactions would resume after 2:30 pm, many customers found themselves unable to access their funds for over 48 hours.

Twitter user @spysofficial reported that a โ‚ฆ54,500 transfer sent to their Zenith account from OPay on October 1st still has not been credited after 7 days. They claim to have emailed the bank but received no reply. โ€œPlease credit my account, Iโ€™m angry and frustrated right now,โ€ the user pleaded.

Several other customers echoed similar experiences:

โ€œWhat is happening to our inflows? Itโ€™s taking too long to reflect and causing us serious inconvenience,โ€ tweeted @gloriousdk.

โ€œMy money is still not in my account. As usual they block my e-statement so I canโ€™t even access my transactions. Zenith Bank I need my money!!!!โ€ exclaimed @RainePog.

Another user, @pascallville, commented sarcastically, โ€œWhen you see a woman sitting in a position meant for men, do not think such a woman is a weakling ๐Ÿ˜†. She fit get all of them for hand,โ€ apparently referring to Zenith Bankโ€™s CEO.

Some expressed disbelief that the media was not giving more coverage to the ongoing issues. โ€œItโ€™s really a surprise no one is talking about whatโ€™s happening with Zenith Bank for over a week now. This I donโ€™t care attitude of the media on the issue proves something is definitely wrong with this country,โ€ said @SadiqRs.

As the complaints continue to mount with no official response from the bank, the frustration and impatience among Zenith Bankโ€™s customers only grows. Many are demanding immediate resolution and access to their missing funds. The bank has yet to provide an updated timeline for when the system issues will be fully resolved and pending inflows properly processed.
