The construction of a two-and-a-half-kilometer road into Zaranda town was flagged off by the Senator representing Bauchi South Senatorial district, Senator Shehu Buba Umar.
Speaking at the event, Umar assured the community that work on the project would be completed in four weeks.
Umar recalled that he promised to construct the road in 2023 during his electioneering campaigns, and expressed gratitude for fulfilling his promise.
โYou will recall that during my electioneering campaigns at the time of aspiring to become your senator in 2023, I pledged to relentlessly pursue meaningful and life-changing projects.
โAnd I re-echoed this pledge during our inauguration at the National Assembly of the 10th Senate during which I swore to do just so.
โIn light of this positive development, this official flag-off of the two-and-a-half kilometre road in this historic town of Zaranda is the tip of the iceberg among what we want to do for the people of Bauchi south senatorial district of the state.โ
