MOMENTS after the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) National Working Committee (NWC) led by Acting National Chairman Illiya Damagum announced the suspension of the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, and National Legal Adviser, Kamaldeen Ajibade, another statement signed by Ologunagba declared the suspension of Damagum and National Secretary Samuel Anyanwu.
The PDP’s NWC had suspended Ologunagba and Ajibade over allegations of disloyalty and insubordination..
The NWC constituted a committee chaired by Deputy National Chairman (South), Amb. Taofeek Arapaja, to investigate the matter in accordance with the party’s constitution.
In an unexpected twist, Ologunagba countered by suspending Damagum and Anyanwu, accusing them of anti-party activities.
Both Damagum and Anyanwu were referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further action.
The crisis within the party continues to escalate as key officials face suspensions and investigations.
