Kanunta, the brother of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has taken a swipe at Southeast politicians following Sunday Igboho’s submission of a Yoruba Nation petition to UK Prime Minister, Keir Starmer.
According to Kanunta, Igboho managed to submit the petition without facing any form of intimidation or threat.
He expressed frustration that, while Igboho is actively pursuing the Yoruba Nation cause, Southeast politicians are allegedly working with the Nigerian Army and Department of State Services (DSS) to abduct ‘Biafran youths.’
Posting via his X handle, he wrote: “Sunday Igboho Submits Petition To UK Prime Minister To Consider ‘Yoruba Nation’ Agitation without any threat.
“But South East politicians are busy kidnapping “Biafran youths” in collaboration with @HQNigerianArmy and @OfficialDSSNG for demanding same. #FreeMaziNnamdiKanuNow.”
Igboho reportedly presented a petition to Starmer, urging him to explore the establishment of a Yoruba nation.
