All Progressive Congress in Ijebu-Ode Local Government Area of Ogun State, on Sunday, inaugurated a campaign committee for its Chairmanship candidate, Hon Dare Alebiosu, to secure votes for him in the November 16 council polls.
The LG APC Chairman, Alhaji Surajudeen Omologere, said that the party decided to inaugurate the campaign committee for Alebiosu to mobilize votes for him so as to win the chairmanship seat of the LG in the forthcoming council election.
Omologere, while unveiling the committee at the Millennium Hall, Itoro, located at the LG Secretariat, boasted that with the inauguration of the committee APC remain the party to beat in Ijebu-Ode in the November 16 LG poll.
He expressed confidence that Alebiosu and councillors contesting under APC for the election would defeat candidates of other parties including the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) vying for political positions at the council in the 2024 LG election
Omologere, urged party stalwarts to do everything within their powers to convince people and members of other political parties to join APC in the council in order to mobilize votes for Alebiosu to win the chairmanship seat
Earlier, the Chairman Campaign council, Mrs Bukky Onabanjo, also asked members to unite and joined hands together to make Alebiosu victorious in the forthcoming council poll.
Some stakeholders of the party including, the DG campaign, Dr Wale Jubri, Engr. Deji Ashiru among others donated money to champion the campaign of Alebiosu to ensure his victory at the election.
