BREAKING: Tinubu Fires 6 Ministers, Nominates Bianca Ojukwu, 6 Others

President Bola Tinubu has dismissed six ministers from his cabinet and submitted seven new ministerial nominees to the National Assembly for confirmation.

The ministers relieved of their duties include Prof. Tahir Mamman (Education), Uju Kennedy Ohanenye (Women Affairs), Mohammed Gwarzo (State for Housing), Jamila Ibrahim (Youth Development), Lola Ade-John (Tourism), and suspended Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Betta Edu.

Among the nominees sent for confirmation is Mrs. Bianca Ojukwu, wife of the late Dim Odumegwu Ojukwu.

This was disclosed by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, during a briefing after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting held at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, and presided over by Tinubu.

Additionally, Onanuga announced that ten ministers have been reassigned new portfolios, indicating a broader restructuring of the cabinet.
