THE Publisher/Editor-in-Chief of Naija Times, Ehi Braimah, and the Editorial Director of the medium, Jahman Anikulapo, were special guests at the opening reception of the 2024 Film Africa Festival, FAF, yesterday, October 27 at the British Film Institute, BFI Southbank in London.
The reception, titled “An African Odyssey,” which followed the screening of the opening film, Dahomey, was hosted by the Royal African Society at BFI. Southbank, London.
About 20 Nigerian films, including the star film, THE MAN DIED, inspired by the prison notes of Nobel laureate, Wole Soyinka, as well as 10 short films from the FilmLab project of the British Council West Africa, are featuring in the festival.
The Man Died will be screened at the Rich Mix Theatre on Sunday, October 27 on the bill of the Film Africa Festival; and also at the University of East Anglia, on Monday October 28
