Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has emerged victorious in the Ondo State governorship election.
Ayedatiwa defeated his closest rival, Mr Agboola Ajayi of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Announcing the results, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared that Aiyedatiwa secured 366,781 votes across the state’s 18 local government areas, while Ajayi garnered 117,835 votes.
INEC confirmed the APC’s dominance in all local governments, solidifying Aiyedatiwa’s re-election.
