The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won all the 14 chairmanship seatsn and 147 counsellorship positions in the Saturday Local Government Areas (LGA) election in Zamfara state.
Declaring the final result, the state chairman of Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission (ZASIEC), Alhaji Bala Aliyu said the newly elected LGA leaders emerged haven met the requirements.
Blueprint reports that already, the newly elected Chairmen have received their certificates of return from ZASIEC after declaring them winners for the election.
The newly elected Chairmen are, Kaura Mannir Haidara of Kaura Namoda, Yahaya Yari of Talata Mafara, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa of Shinkafi,
Abduhadi Ahmad of Birnin Magaji, Barr. Abubakar Imam of Gusau and Nura Umar of Bungudu local governments.
Others are Saidu Danbala of Bakura, Bello Muhammad Jabaka of Maru, Aminu Nuhu Falale of Gummi, Umar Faruk of Bukkuyum, Bashar Musa Anka of Anka, Garba Shehu of Tsafe, Hon. Samaila Hussaini Moriki of Zurmi and Sanusi Ahmed Dosara of Maradun LGAs respectively.
