Afrobeats superstar Davido is basking in glory as he continues to hold an unrivaled record on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart.
The singer proudly reaffirmed his status as the only artist to dominate the top 16 spots for two consecutive days, a feat achieved with his groundbreaking album Timeless.
This comes in the wake of the release of Wizkid’s latest album, Morayo.
While Wizkid’s project shattered numerous streaming records on Spotify, it fell short of unseating Davido’s record-breaking reign on the chart.
Highlighting this distinction, music analytics platform The Data Dash posted on X (formerly Twitter):
“@davido remains the only artist to occupy the Top 16 spots on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs Chart for 2 consecutive days, with all new songs from his album Timeless.”
Not one to shy away from celebrating his achievements, Davido reposted the acknowledgement with a confident caption: “Remains the only!”
