Super Eagles and Atalanta forward, Ademola Olajade Lookman, has revealed his faith in his side following their 2-1 win against AC Milan in Bergamo last night, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 27-year-old has been in great form for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side this year, scoring eight goals and providing four assists in the league this campaign.
La Dea headed into game against Milan with eight consecutive wins and made it nine as Lookman scored a late header to give his side their ninth win in a row.
Charles De Ketelaere leaped highest at the back post to head home from a Martin De Roon free kick against his former club. Alvaro Morata equalised for Milan before Ademola Lookman nicked the win in the 87th minute, heading home from Sead Kolasinac’s flick as he was left unmarked at the far post.

Speaking after the game, Lookman revealed his confidence in his teammates and backed them to continue in such brilliant form.
“It’s a very important game against a very strong team that is doing well in the League. We performed well tonight, three big points and we continue like this.
I think we just continue to play the way we play, match by match. We believe in ourselves as a team, so we continue like this and stay together,” the former Everton man told Sky Italia as revealed by Football Italia.
The Super Eagles star was given the Man of the Match award for his display against Milan, and revealed his plans to win the 2024 African Footballer of the year award.
“It’s an honour to be nominated for this prestigious award. Of course, anyone who is nominated would like to win it. It’s a dream!”
Atalanta are now top of the Serie A, two points above Napoli who have a game in hand.
